INTRODUCTION TO THE INIMITABILITY OF AL-QURAN

Human has been blessed with a tremendous specialties and advantages plus with an ability to think that separated them from other living things. But, the arrogant characteristic sometimes makes them disbelieved and denied the truth that has been brought in front of their eyes. For that reason, beside by sending down the revelation, Allah the Most Gracious has also sanctified the prophets with unimaginable capabilities so the human would admit their weaknesses then, believe the unthinkable miracles lay upon the prophets.

Allah had bestowed upon the past prophets miracles that vary on each one of them. Those miracles were impossible to human minds to repudiate it. For instances, the people of Prophet Musa (a.s) excelled at magic, so the miracle of Prophet Musa  was that he threw his staff and it turned to a serpent. Likewise, the people of Prophet ‘Isa (a.s) excelled at medicine, so Prophet ‘Isa  may  (a.s) cured the blind and the leper, and gave life to the dead by the permission of Allah The Almighty. The Arabs excelled at poetry and rhetoric and therefore Allah the Almighty sent them the Quran and it was a miracle that they were not even able to compose one Surah (Chapter) like it. (Islam Web, 2012).
